Obtain Installation Details

The Obtain Installation Details (OID) dialogue service allows, subject to providing a valid line number and associated installation postcode, for the details of a line to be retrieved so as to determine the current configuration (e.g. active features, number of lines, care level, etc).

An OID look up can be done on both lines owned by the CP or lines with other CPs, although for lines with other CPs you should have the End User's permission to perform the look up.

To use OID select the relevant option from the Dialogue screen shortcuts, the following screen will be displayed:

 

 

The line number and installation postcode (note - billing postcode won't work) should be entered here and then the "Obtain details" button clicked. After a few seconds the line details will be displayed on screen, see below for an example:

 

 

In this example the service is a 2 line Multiline, with Care Level 1 and no calling or network features. CPS is currently active on this line and Directory Entry details are shown.
